Meeting at the Gardens « Europe of the gardens », June 1st to 3r

16th edition of this National celebratory days proposed by the French Ministry of Culture, for festivities in French gardens : Meeting at the Gardens 2018
The gardens will stay open from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

The gardens of la Ballue has been rewarded with the 2nd price, by the Europen Garden Heritage Network, as one of the most beautiful garden in Europe.

The playful labyrinthine designs of the gardens of La Ballue, inspired by the Baroque Italian gardens of the 17th century are especially fun for children ! We offer a special brochure just for them, both playful and educational, to help them explore the gardens and their architecture. There is one brochure for children less than 9 years old, and another for the older ones. All children who fill out the questionnaire in their brochure will be rewarded !

Program of this special day of the Meeting at the Gardens 2018:

Special school day : Friday 1st, School group are welcome to visit La Ballue for educational visits, but must be reserved in advance.
Saturday 2nd : Guided tour of the garden with the owner of the Château at 3:00 PM
Sunday 3rd : Concert and animations with the medieval group “La Menestraudie” and the group of medieval dancers “Les Fou’gèrent” in medieval suits for the occasion !

And also the presentation of the book “La Ballue : variation d’un jardin” with the photographies of Yann Monel, and texts of Marianne Niermans.

Regular tickets price, except for children : FREE UNDER 12 years old for this events !
